YG Entertainment's first creation, hip-hop duo JinuSean. They debuted in 1997 and gained tremendous popularity especially with their song "Tell Me" featuring the Kpop diva Uhm Jung Hwa. They are still under YG Entertainment but have been on hiatus for a long time. Sean is married to actress Jung Hye Young and have three beautiful children. This couple is known for their humbleness and charity to the community.

1tym debuted in 1998 and became popular instantly. Their hip-hop and RnB music was popular for the young generation and they were different and fresh. Currently they are still under YG Entertainment but have been on hiatus for a long time. Teddy is currently working as a producer and have created several hits for other artists in YG Entertainment.
Gummy
Although her debut in 2003 was not a great success, she began rising with her second album. Her powerful voice and her music became more and more popular.
Currently she is preparing for her new album.
Se7en
Se7en's debut in 2003 was quite a success with her trademark 7 handstand. He also released several hits song that moved him to the top of kpop along with other artist. He appeared on variety shows and received much love there as well.
He then moved the United States for his American debut. He was able to work with many American artists such as Lil' Kim with the release on his first single "Girls". However he was unable to catch the attentions of the media and Americans.
He is currently in Korea preparing for his album for the first time since he went to America.
Lexy
From the start, Lexy had several hit songs that are still well known today. Her music was definitely like by kpop fans but her next albums were not as successful. After several years she returned to the stage which gathered some attention but still was not as much as her first album.
She then left YG Entertainment blaming YG Entertainment for not promoting her and moved to a different company.
Big Bang

Big Bang first debuted in 2006 as a hip hop artist. They received a lot of love and their fanbase began to grow. Then finally with the release of "Lies" produced by G-dragon, they climbed to the top of kpop. After that, they continued to release hits and blew the minds of kpop fans. They also released several solo albums that were also successful such as Taeyang, G-Dragon, and Seungri's single.
The members began to feature for other artist and also started to participate in acting and musicals as well as variety shows.
G-dragon's fashion sense and music composition has sparked many people's interest. Also G-dragon's and Taeyang's long trainee days as well as appearance in YG family's music at a young age gather lots of attention.
They are currently participating in their Japanese advancement as well as solo activities in Korea. Also, they are preparing for the Korean album.

After the failure of their first girl group, YG released 2ne1 in 2009. They popularity rose even before their debut due to the anticipation of being the "girl Big Bang" and their appearance with Big Bang in the lollipop cellphone commercial. Member Sandra Park was already popular in the Philippines and her younger brother is also a member of mblaq.
Their debut instantly was a hit with two hit songs that helped them climb higher.
They are currently preparing for a new album.
